He graduated in Economics at SAA in Turin and took his Master’s degree in International Sport Management (University of Parma and San Marino). He is a winner of scholarships Marcello Novo and Alberto Madella. After working at Juventus FC and Lega Serie A, he joined FIGC, inside the Center for Studies, in May 2011. In 2014 he had a role of Bid Dossier Coordinator for the FIGC’s bidding for UEFA EURO 2020 and in 2016 he was appointed Project Manager for the bidding for the 2019 UEFA European Championship Under 21. In January 2016 he became Head of the Office of the Center for Studies, Special Initiatives and Social Responsibility (and later of the Development and Social Responsibility Area), in June 2017 he joined the UEFA HatTrick Committee and in July 2019 he was appointed Head of Research and Development of FIGC. He collaborated with authors Michele Uva and Gianfranco Teorino for the book “Football Counts”. He collaborated with the same authors for the book “Football during the spread times”, and with Michele Uva and Marco Vitale for the book “A journey inside the Italian sport” and with Emilio Faroldi and Guglielmo Cammino for the essay “Sport architecture: designing, building and managing sport infrastructures”. He holds the role of lecturer at some of the main courses and masters on sport business, and starting from 2019 he holds the title of teaching on “Football – sports system”, as part of the three-year course “Sports Science – Football” at the San Raffaele University of Rome.
