Daniele Adani
Daniele Adani, born in Correggio on 10 July 1974, is a retired Italian footballer. He played as a central defender and started his career in Serie B with Modena FC, then he transferred to top level’s S.S. Lazio (Serie A), at the age of 18. His 5 years at Brescia Calcio (from 1994 to 1999) as captain, consecrate him as a player. He then transferred to Fiorentina, where – during the three Serie A seasons (from 1999 to 2002) – he won the Italian Cup and made his debut in the Champions League. In recent years, he is also called up in the Italian National Team (where in total he receives 14 call-ups and collects 5 appearances). In 2002-03, he moved to Inter. He remained in the Nerazzurri cclub until 2004. After returning to Brescia for a season (2004/05), and having played with Ascoli (2005/06), and Empoli (from 2006 to 2008), by personal choice and for a sense of gratitude towards the team of his city, he decides to end his career in the Sammartinese, in the Seconda Categoria (9th level).
