Ludovica Mantovani was born in Italy in 1970 in a family who’s DNA was encoded with football as she was the youngest of four siblings who all lived at the rhythm of their father’s passion as President of UC Sampdoria and of its stratospheric rise from the Italian second division to the Champion’s League final in Wembley in 1992.

She was raised in Geneva, Switzerland where she received her I.B. and later a degree in Architecture from the Zurich Polytechnic University (ETHZ). Ludovica speaks five languages plus most importantly a 6th…the language of football.

Ludovica’s experience has enabled her to develop marketing and communication skills specifically in the organisation of football events and other sport manifestations predominantly throughout Italy.

Ludovica is President of the Torneo Ravano Coppa Paolo Mantovani Foundation which yearly organises, since 1987, Europe’s largest primary school tournament. During the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown she invested in a digital platform to strategically entertain the primary school network throughout all of Italy. This became a huge success and received massive media coverage. In September 2019 Ludovica was elected as the first President of FIGC’s Women’s Football Division.
