Giacomo Ferrara

SpecialityActor

Giacomo Ferrara, originally from Villamagna in Abruzzo, grows up on the Majella massif where his parents run a hotel. He attended the Communication High School in Chieti and later moved to Rome where he attended the “Corrado Pani” Academy. There he met Alessandro Prete, his acting coach with whom he still collaborates.

He made his acting debut in 2015 with the “The first time of my daughter” comedy directed by Riccardo Rossi and in the same year he took part in “Suburra”, a film directed by Stefano Sollima.

2017 was an important year for Giacomo: he was the absolute protagonist of Fulvio Risuleo’s film “Guarda in Alto” presented at the Rome Film Festival; he was one of the protagonists of “Il permesso – 48 ore fuori”, by Claudio Amendola, and of “Suburra – La serie”, the fist first fully-Italian production on Netflix, where he played the role of Spadino for all three seasons alongside Alessandro Borghi.
